Air Canada Life Jacket Storage Box Replicas (2022)
We were commissioned to build two replica life jacket storage boxes, identical to those found under Air Canada airplane seats. These props were created for an activation at Disney World, bringing a touch of in-flight safety to the park experience.
Each box was built from MDF with quarter-round trim for smooth, rounded edges. The panels were sealed with urethane, then painted in a custom color match. The latch was a real metal component but left unattached so it could be removed after use. For authenticity, a matching surface texture was applied.
