Buffy The Vampire Slayer Wooden Stake

This was a quick project made using various wooden elements. I used a 1'' Pine dowel for the main piece and sanded it down with a belt sander to get the point and dremeled the wood grain. The stake was later stained with a "Chocolate" colour to give the piece depth. 

The box was made using 3/4'' finished pine. Wood glued and nailed into place. The Buffy logo was done by heat transfering the logo with an inverted printed photo and ironed onto the actual wood. The logo was later traced with a heated carving tool and painted with multiple coats of metallic gold acrylic paints. A similar job was done for the inside quote from the show. A soft foam bed was cut also using the heated cutting tool and wrapped in a red silk to compliment the origins of the stake.
