Fallout Bottle Cap Display
I built an “in-universe” display for our Fallout bottle caps which would be for sale at conventions we attend. I wanted to be able to show as much of the product as possible to allow us to spend time talking and interacting with customers instead of restocking the same caps over and over.
The main construction was plywood. I built a raised level inside each compartment so they would appear more full instead of sitting all the way to the bottom of the container. I lined the inside of each compartment with black felt and I took black mesh webbing and spray painted it silver and glued it over the black felt to give a more “industrial” look. Bottle caps next to the price have Velcro attached so they can be replaced if a certain style ever does go out of stock. Stencils were cut using a Silhouette Cameo, the art direction I followed was to simulate an old re-purposed ammunition crate so I took different inspirations from real life ammo cases.
