We had the pleasure of working on a KFC Canada project with our friend Jessica, creating a wall on wheels designed as a movable set piece for a commercial. The challenge was to make it transportable and easy to assemble on location, as the wall stood 8ft x 8ft and needed to roll away seamlessly during filming.
The structure was built from three 4ft x 8ft wooden flats, connected by a floor piece with wheels for mobility. To achieve a realistic kitchen look, different props and elements were attached to the wall. Stainless steel panels were secured using framing nails, allowing them to be easily removed if needed.
This project required a mix of wood, stainless steel, plastics, painting, and vinyl application, all coming together to create a dynamic, functional set piece.
