We worked with PTNR Production to create a custom Xbox Duke Controller Mouse for Xbox Canada—a fun mashup of retro gaming and modern functionality.
The goal was to modify an original Xbox Duke controller to function as a computer mouse. To make this happen, we disassembled a wireless mouse and plastic-welded it to the bottom of the controller, keeping it as low-profile as possible. For an extra touch of style, we wrapped green LED string lights around the base to create a sleek underglow effect.
Not only did this hybrid controller glide smoothly like a mouse, but it was also fully functional—pressing on either the left or right side would click, just like a regular mouse. Definitely one of the most creative and unusual builds we've done!
