PUBG “The Sanhok Tapes” – Half-Scale Crate Build (2020)
We had the opportunity to create a custom half-sized crate for an online PUBG commercial titled “The Sanhok Tapes.”
This crate was designed in the same style as our full-sized 4ft build but scaled down to 2ft for easier transport and handling on set.
It was constructed from XPS foam, primed in black, and painted with a custom-mixed red exterior. We used layered weathering techniques to give it a realistic, battle-worn look. A blue tarp was strapped over the top, and functional side latches were added to replicate the in-game crate as closely as possible.
