Toronto Ultra Juggernaut Statue – Call of Duty Major III (2022)

We were commissioned to create a life-sized Juggernaut statue for Toronto Ultra’s Call of Duty Major III tournament. The goal was to capture a heavy tactical presence while incorporating the team’s signature colours.

Since mannequins in combat poses don’t exist off the shelf, we built a custom duct tape mannequin to establish proportions and stance, later reinforcing it with foam and paper for structure. Authentic tactical gear was sourced to sell the realism, while custom elements were fabricated where gear couldn’t be obtained.

A 3D-printed minigun was sanded, finished, and paired with a bullet belt—first made from real brass casings, later re-engineered with lightweight hollow plastic for safety and durability. Custom 3D-printed safety tips were also added to the barrel.

The military gear featured real tactical jackets and vests, complemented by fabricated armour plating made from 3D-printed parts and soft foam pads wrapped in fabric. Gloves were painted to match, with internal wire armatures for poseable hands. Ski boots provided the bulk of the armoured look. The helmet was resin cast with rail attachments and a reflective visor, later upgraded to chrome.

The base was constructed from wood and vertical concrete mix, finished with rubble, cracks, and scattered bullet casings to suggest battle in progress. When the statue began leaning from the weight of its gear, we engineered a steel support rod disguised as a wall for stability. Wheels and removable hands were integrated for easier transport and setup.

The final piece balanced authenticity, durability, and stage presence—delivering a striking centerpiece that brought Toronto Ultra’s vision to life for players and fans alike.
